DAY #1 - Tent Revival at Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church

Yesterday (Sunday, June 17th) was the kickoff of the annual Summer Tent Revival at Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church in Sanborn, New York where Jack Britt is the pastor.  This will be our 11th year in a row at this meeting.

We had a good day in church and Pastor Britt was very excited about the services.  I preached in Sunday School and the Lord gave great liberty and unction to preach.  Pastor Britt preached the morning service and did a great job in preaching to the men for Father's Day.  Seeing as the meeting always starts on Father's Day, Pastor Britt has not preached this particular day in the 10 years he has pastored there and he was burdened to do so.  It was a tremendous message from II Kings 2 where David is exhorting his son, Solomon.

Sunday evening was a good service as well and I had the privilege to preach.  The Lord was there and the altars were full during the invitation.  There were a couple of visitors in attendance and I believe there will be many more during the week.

All the services were held in the church yesterday.  Tonight we will move across the street into the old-fashioned gospel tent.  I will be preaching tonight.  Evangelist Dan Martin, The CrossPoint String Band and I have been a part of this meeting ever since it began 11 years ago and we are looking forward to being together again.  I will try to post a report tonight about the service.
