We leave this morning for another big trip that will span two months. Our first stop is Liberty Baptist Church in Miamisburg, Ohio (just outside of Dayton). Pastor Craig Lovell and the folks are excited because it is not only their annual camp meeting but it is also the church's 25th Anniversary! Many special things are planned during the week and Stacie and I are honored to be invited to take part in the meeting.
Here is a link to the Camp Meeting page on the church's website with more information...

HOME AT OLD TIME BEFORE WE HIT THE ROAD...
Last night we were at Old Time Baptist Church for a final service before we hit the road this weekend on a two-month trip. I was asked in the afternoon if I would preach which I was glad to do. It was good to enjoy some good fellowship before and after the service with our church folks.
ANNUAL OLD TIME BAPTIST CAMP MEETING - August 18-23, 2013
The annual Old Time Baptist Camp Meeting is August 18-23. The theme this year is "Higher Ground". Many of our friends from all over the country and even some foreign countries will make the trip to Hamburg to be with us and we have been praying since last year for this very special week. The official camp meeting flyer is posted below. If you have any questions, feel free to call the church office at 716-649-4974. You will notice a Camp Meeting tab at the top of the home page here on the blog that will be available for folks to click on to access this information quickly instead of scrolling down thru the posts to find it.

FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH - Springville, New York
After our trip home from Rochester this past Sunday, we had enough time to make it down to Springville, New York (about 25 minutes south of Hamburg) to go to Faith Baptist Church for their evening service. Pastor Kevin Friedman started this work eight years ago and they are the only good Baptist church in that area. Pastor Friedman and his family have been a real blessing to our church over the years helping out in big ways with our annual camp meeting, Christmas cantata and other events.
As soon as we showed up, he asked me if I had a message for the church and so I had the honor of preaching in the service. We had a great time of fellowship before and after the service and we look forward to seeing them again in August at the camp meeting in Hamburg.

APRIL / MAY 2013 Prayer letter
Below is our latest prayer letter. It is also posted on the "current prayer letter" tab of the blog...
APRIL—MAY, 2013
Dear Friends,
Proverbs 25:11 reminds us that “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.” We often hear this verse but I got to meditating on it in the context of preaching and the great responsibility that preachers have as God’s messengers. We need to deliver the message that God wants us to (be it an encouraging one, a rebuking one, a combination, or whatever else) instead of using the pulpit for our own soapbox used as a place for us to grind an axe.
April and May were filled with meetings at New Life Baptist Church in Dover Foxcroft, Maine (Pastor David Ireland); McKenzie Corner Baptist Church in New Brunswick, Canada (Pastor Andy Nissley); Amherst Open Bible Baptist Church in Amherst, Nova Scotia (Pastor Jamey Grooms); Victory Baptist Church in Kemptville, Nova Scotia (Pastor Joey Ring); Sebec Corner Baptist Church in Sebec, Maine (Pastor Isaiah Hill); Bible Baptist Church in Bangor, Maine (Pastor Artie Dean); and Buck Settlement Baptist Church in Bath, New York. We also were able to be at home at Old Time Baptist Church for a couple of services after we got back from Maine. We saw the Lord give us great services in all of the churches we were honored to be at. There was good singing, good special music, liberty to preach and tremendous responses during the invitations. We are thankful for the way everybody took such good care of us and we enjoyed the fellowship with God’s people.
At the end of May we were able to spend a week home with the family and we always cherish that time as it only happens a few weeks out of the year. We packed up the van just before Memorial day and headed to Indiana for our next meeting. We are looking forward to a busy summer with our travels taking us to Indiana, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, Maine and then back to New York. These meetings will be revivals, tent meetings and camp meetings. If you want to keep up with us on a more regular basis you can check out our blog and also follow us on Twitter. That information is listed on the left side of this prayer letter in the blue section.
From the bottom of our hearts Stacie and I want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and support. It is such a blessing to know that we are traveling the country there are people taking time out of their schedules to pray for us and some who have even sacrificed financially. We want you to know we appreciate all of you very much and pray God blesses you fro your care for us!
In HIS service,
Craig A. Cobb

For some reason a couple of the links in my last post (Chili Bible Baptist Church) were not working. I have fixed the links in the post and then also listed them here so you won't have to go searching. Sorry for the inconvenience...

CHILI BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH - Chili, New York
This past Sunday morning I had the privilege of preaching the anniversary service of Chili Bible Baptist Church in Chili, New York. Pastor Hal Roscoe started this church outside of Rochester 23 years ago and is still the pastor today. I have known Pastor Roscoe for several years and he is a good man. Bro. Roscoe's wife passed away last July and he has remained faithful through the hard times. This was the first time I have been to his church and we had a wonderful time.
If you recall from the meeting from last week CrossPoint String Band was there and they also were at Chili during the Sunday morning service and it was a blessing to be with them again. I also had heard that Abigail Miller was going to be there and we were excited to finally get to meet her and her family and here her sing. She has written many songs but is mostly known for writing "I Can Go In" and "Turn the Tide". Her husband, Paul, is also an evangelist and they travel the country full time. While they were there, they weren't going to be singing until the evening service so we still have not heard her sing in person. We did, however, enjoy some good fellowship with them after the morning service.
Bro. Glenn Kisoriek preached during the Sunday school hour and I preached the main service. There was a great spirit in the service and I am thankful for the Lord's help to preach.
