APRIL PRAYER LETTER

April 3, 2019

Dear Friends and Co-laborers,
Greetings!  We pray this letter finds you well and keeping busy for the Lord in these last days.  The closer we get to the rapture of the church, the more I find myself thinking, like John said in Revelation, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus”!
During the months of January thru March the “evangelism road” took us to Texas, Florida (twice), Georgia and across the pond to Germany.  God has blessed in the meetings and it is always good to see so many of our friends as we travel.
A special note regarding the meeting in Germany - God gave us a tremendous week.  Missionary Rick Weimer’s church hosts this annual meeting and the highlight was a man who they’ve been praying for -  for 16 years - got saved!  His wife and family are members of the church and oh my, what a service that was!  There sure was rejoicing in heaven as well as Coldtiz Castle.
April and May are a little slow on the road with a couple of meetings in Maine and Nova Scotia Canada.  We hit the ground running in June for the remainder of the summer and well into the fall.
The work at New Life Baptist Church in Dover Foxcroft, Maine is going well and God is blessing there.  A few new folks have been coming faithfully and there has been the occasional visitor here and there.  In a couple weeks, my pastor - Kent Kirchmeyer - from our home church in Indiana will be preaching the Spring Revival.  The church has been fasting and praying for God to do some unbelievable things and we would ask you to pray with us.
Personally: Stacie and I are doing well and yes, even Jack and Jase are doing good.  Stacie had a touch of the flu back in February like so many others did all over the country.  I managed to escape with only a minor sinus something in March.  It seems everybody north of the Mason-Dixon Line are hit with a bad case of Cabin Fever and can’t wait to start enjoying some warmer weather.
Support: From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank you all very much who support us through prayer and/or financially.  We do need both and it is a humbling thing to reflect on how many folks love us and care for us.  Glory be to God!!!

In HIS service,
Bro. Craig

APRIL - JUNE 2018 Prayer Letter

APRIL - JUNE, 2018

Dear Brethren,

Greetings in the Master’s Holy Name!  Proverbs 3:5-6 admonishes us to “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” I sure am glad we don’t have to figure this life out.  All we have to do is LEAN on Him and TRUST Him!!!

So far this year we have been in meetings in Texas, Florida (three times), Michigan, Georgia and Indiana.  I also made a trip up to Maine to visit with a pastor who is having serious health issues.  I would ask you to please keep Pastor David Ireland, his wife, family and church in your prayers.  It was good to spend time with him and Pastor David Evans from Alabama.  Bro. Evans made a trip there and it coincided with mine.

We have been in some pretty good services and God has helped us in our parts in these meetings.  It has been a mix of revival meetings, camp meetings and Sunday services.  I hope and pray I never get used to being in the work of God.  Is it always easy? No!  Is it challenging at times? Definitely!  Do I understand what God is doing all the time? Hardly!  Do I have any complaints? NO WAY!!!  When we stop to really think and ponder what we DESERVE - it makes the path of this life a breeze.

Coming up for the next three months we will be in Maine, Ohio, Maryland, Alabama and New York.  I would ask you to please pray with us that God would fill in the gaps in our schedule as He sees fit.  Pray also for safety while traveling and for God to continue to meet the needs.

Stacie is doing good and so are Jack and Jase.  I thank the Lord for a good lady to go thru this life with!  God sure blessed me.

Let me say in closing I want to sincerely thank each and everyone of you who prays for us and for those who support us financially.  You will never know what your investment into our ministry means.

In the service of the King,

Bro. Craig Cobb

BACK ON THE TRAIL & CALENDAR UPDATE

Words cannot express how much Stacie and I have enjoyed being home together these last three weeks over the Christmas and New Year's holiday season.  I was able to do a good bit of preaching at our home church for my Pastor - Kent Kirchmeyer - enabling him to take a bit of a much-deserved break.

That being said, it is time to get back on the road to the places our Lord allows us to go.  Early tomorrow morning I will head to the Indianapolis Airport and hop on a plane to Southwest Florida.  Now I do understand most of the country is in the deep-freezer, so please don't let a root of bitterness or jealousy make it's way into your heart.  This is the ministry the Lord has given us so we are just doing our best to be in the service of the King!

Below you will find out schedule for the first couple of months of 2018.  You can visit our "UPCOMING SCHEDULE" page anytime on the website.  We do covet your prayers for God to use us to be a help in these churches for His honor and glory as well as safety in our travels.

A MONTH IN NEW YORK

It is good to be on the road in the bus!  What makes it such a blessing is that means Stacie, Jack and Jase are with me.  We left home in Indiana the Friday before Memorial Day and headed to Holland, New York where I preached at Hunters Creek Bible Baptist Church (Pastor Willie O'Dell).  It worked out good on the timing because God answered a big prayer by finding my mother a new location to live.  We were able to get her moved in a couple of days to a far better place than she was at.

After the moving was all done we headed north to be at Lighthouse Baptist Church in North Tonawanda (Pastor Dave Costantino).  The Lord allowed me to preach in all three services and I believe we had a good day in church and definitely enjoyed the fellowship with these good folks.  The following Wednesday I preached for my good friend Jim Donath at Evangelical Baptist Church in Buffalo.  It was good to see Bro. Donath and his wife again.

We also stopped in to visit at Old Time Baptist Church in Hamburg and enjoyed catching up with the old home crowd!  I wasn't able to talk to everybody but it was a blessing to be in the service.

Starting on Father's Day, as we have every year since we have been on the road, we were at Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church in Sanborn (located ten miles east of Niagara Falls).  Pastor Jack Britt and I go back probably more than 25 years and we always have a great time during this meeting.

For some reason some of the pictures from New York have vanished into a cyber trash can somewhere and so I am missing pics of our first three stops (insert sad face icon here).  Below are some pics from the meeting at Cornerstone.  I am planning to post a picture gallery later.  At the end of June we headed to Ohio and that update will be coming shortly.

May 2017 Prayer Letter

May, 2017

Dear Friends,

Greetings in the Master’s Holy Name!  I want to bring you all up to speed on what is going on with the Cobb’s.  As always we sincerely thank each and every one of you that prays for us.  We never take this lightly and are humbled that anyone would take the time to lift us up in prayer, no matter how often or intense it may be.

Since our last letter the Lord has kept me very busy and I am eternally grateful.  The meeting in Germany was unbelievable and it was a blessing to be able to go.  I am making plans to go back in 2018.  I have been to Maine, New Brunswick, Maryland and to  Nova Scotia (twice) as well as preach several times at our home church here in Indiana.  The Lord has really given us some good meetings—and I don’t say that “evangelistically speaking” or mean it to be just something that sounds good in a prayer letter.  God really helped some people and churches in big ways and we also saw a few souls trust Christ.  God is good!

The last few days have been very busy getting the bus ready to hit the road.  At the writing of this letter, we will be leaving in two days to our next meetings which will be in New York.  I am excited that for the next five months Stacie and I will be together.  I will still have the occasional meeting to fly to, but for the most part we will be together.

Our schedule thru the summer will take us to New York for a month, Ohio for a couple weeks, Maine for three weeks, Texas and then back to New York.  For more detailed dates and locations you can check out our website at www.EvangelistCraigCobb.com.  If you would like—you can sign up on the website to receive email updates when we post something.

I also want to thank you all for praying for my pastor—Kent Kirchmeyer—and his recovery from major back surgery.  He is doing well but has many months of adjusting ahead of him.  I appreciate people who have asked how he is doing.

May God bless you all as you continue to serve the King!

In His service,

Craig A. Cobb
