DAY #3 - CAMP MEETING - LIBERTY BAPTIST CHURCH - Moraine, Ohio

Tuesday, July 3, 2012

I believe we had a wonderful service tonight.  There were people from two area churches in attendance tonight.  It is always a blessing to see churches who can support other churches and work together for the cause of Christ.

As in every service there has been wonderful special music.  Tonight the Liberty Baptist Church choir again opened the service.  The "main" special music this week has been the Parks Children - Gabriel and Priscilla.  They have been doing just a tremendous job.  You would never know they are 13 and 15 years old.  The Lord has really touched their voices and they have added to the meeting.  A family from Liberty sang a special tonight as well.

An extra special blessing to me personally was getting to see another good friend - Bro. Tom Combs.  Bro. Combs has a wonderful testimony of not only salvation but also serving the Lord.  He started a church in Kentucky many years ago and he now works in the prisons with Gulf Coast Prison Ministries.  His dear wife has had health problems over the years but they continue to press forward.  They both have such sweet spirits and are the most humble people you will ever meet.  Bro. Combs sang a couple of specials tonight that were a real blessing.

The Lord spoke to my heart during his second special and changed the message.  I love it when the Lord really makes it clear what we need to do.  Again, there was good liberty to preach and I am thankful for it.  The altar was again full tonight with many people responding to the call to be a better witness for Christ.

Today was the church's 24th anniversary and I am happy to report that Pastor Lovell started the church and is still going strong.  Tomorrow is the Fourth of July and it will be a busy day with a church-wide picnic on the grounds and then the meeting in the evening.
